Instructor Training Week – September 17 - 22
Norse Cove, Nova Scotia
Our Instructor Collection is designed for paddlers who are ready to lead and teach on the Atlantic coast. Whether you’re preparing for your first Paddle Canada instructor certification or advancing to a higher level, these courses give you the tools to share your passion for sea kayaking with confidence and purpose.
Instructor Training Week brings these opportunities together in one immersive coastal event. Before the summer season begins, we gather for a week of skill-building, mentorship, and shared learning along some of the most stunning shorelines in Canada. Expect mornings of coaching and assessment, afternoons refining surf and navigation skills, and evenings spent connecting with fellow paddlers by the sea.

Why Paddle Canada?
The Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Program provides a national framework that extends through Level 3, covering ocean environments. It’s the foundation for developing strong technical ability, sound judgment, and the leadership skills needed to guide and teach in Canada’s coastal waters.
You’ll leave with deeper paddling skills, stronger teaching strategies, and a renewed connection to the sea—and to the community of instructors who call it home.
